Albury Wodonga Careers Advisers Association is a network of Careers AdvisErs who work with POST-SCHOOL training providers, employers and community groups to ensure the young people of this region have greater opportunities.
What we do.
Albury Wodonga Careers Advisers Association is responsible for organising several events throughout the year, targeted at high school students across the border and north east Victorian regions.
Health Careers Forum
Held on the first Friday in May each year, the Health Forum provides 200 local senior students with the opportunity to learn more about future career options from current health professionals. Hosted by La Trobe University in conjunction with Albury Wodonga Health, Charles Sturt University, Wodonga TAFE, TAFE NSW and AWCAA - the forum receives positive feedback each from our aspiring health specialists.
Albury Wodonga Careers Expo
On the Friday following the June King’s Birthday holiday each year, students and community members in the region have the opportunity to speak to universities, employment agencies, industry associations, TAFEs, private training providers and other organisations from around VIC, ACT and NSW, to find out more about post-school/future careers and education.
